I like forks a lot more than spoons because I rarely "eat" soups or sloppy things. It's not that I don't like soups, I do, I just prefer being able to sink my teeth in.

This map isn't sloppy in the slightest, in fact it's one of the most solid mine jumpers I've ever chowed on. It's compact and precise in both gameplay and style, and dat gold is a sight to behold.

I really wanted to write "may the fork be with you" somewhere in this review, but let's just pretend I'm more creative than that. — astheoceansblue

Mintnut 4 Admin!

I actually, honestly think he would be perfect for the job.

So as to be respectful to the map author, I will include a demo along with my tangential comment.

"Internal" maps are kinda rare nowadays. At least good ones. Like this!
and then ate it in a frisbee

heh

haha yeah atob, its still very happy :)

this discussion just makes the whole thing much more exciting!

"You are the highest wisdom and reason mintnut?"

Is a strawman argument. I disagreed with you and provided the rationale for my position, and you replied with, "it's just my opinion". I am not the highest wisdom and reason, but I at least back up my opinions with valid arguments.

And no, that isn't self-centred egotism.

You are the highest wisdom and reason mintnut?

Because I feel that you try to always have the last word, the reason in the latter case, and take out me questioning any reasoning given. It is not that a show of a level of self-centred egotism too mintnut? haha, you make me have fun.

Eurgh.

Just because something is your opinion does not make it unquestionable. You cannot hold up the word opinion as some kind of shield against rational argument.

'Hating' people for having the cheek not to thank their gracious reviewer is abhorrent and the idea that it is somehow worse when it's your first feature actually offends me. It shows a level of self-centred egotism that is totally repugnant.

@leo, you totally failed to stay out of it, yet totally didn't add anything of worth to the debate.

lol

Im pretty sure 90% of features within the last month have had some sort of argument in them

This thread

is pretty hilarious.

Sorry Dagga, this was supposed to be a happy occasion! :)
but both of you have a point. It is dignified to not respond, although it is also polite to mention a thank you, because it /is/ a deserved feature, but quick thanks should probably still be given out.
just my opinion

AGD

It's a good map

*kiaora
kiaro is totally right, nothing is necessary or required, but still I hate when that happens. It's just my opinion.

:|

I was joking, but ok
kiaora has a point I guess, but still. a thank you here and never untoward
but,

"I always hate when people do not thank when got a featured map, even more when it is his first feature."

TOTAL RUBBISH.

No reviewer should be reviewing maps for thank yous and no mapper should feel obliged to thank anyone for featuring their maps, if someone features your map then you deserve it, there should be no gratitude asked or given.

As a matter of fact, the 'coolest' option is almost always to maintain a dignified silence. So yeah, you totally were cool until you started replying dagga.
but those tiles are the best part.

ah flag

ah flag.

great choice atob

really nice minejumper. objects were placed well and the tile letters look really oool

5/5 great map, great feature!!
Demo Data

also, didn't want to make you look like a jerk. It's not me who acted like that.

haha, I'm not mad man! I just give my opinion about a concrete behavior in your map because was related to it, also making to you a question that you answered quite right. Simply that bro.

but like actually

thank you, and this was a huge excitement to see when I logged on ! :)

no

it doesn't make me cooler, I wanted to wait a bit before saying something. i dont know why, but there isn't a reason for you to get mad at me on my own map.

thanks atob, now that I look like a total jerk.

I always hate when people do not thank when got a featured map, even more when it is his first feature.

It makes you cooler or better not giving thanks or not saying anything DaggaFork?

Ummmmm.

Not fun.

@PALEy:

someones holding a grudge...

@atob: thanks for the clarification :P

like I said, great map. you deserved this one, dagga
Really well placed mines! The E tile design fits perfectly with them. 4-4.5!

While the normal doors offend my aesthetic sensibilities, the mine action is absolutely fantastic.

Nice map, nice feature.
