There is a false simplicity about this map. You may not notice it but the construction of this map is such that the gauss turrets, which are so easy to dodge in much simpler maps, are given the overbearing power. Most everything about this map is a little unexpected, but that's what I like about it. It takes a while to get used to the fact that you're going to die 25 times trying to escape the area of the exit switch. Just be ready to stay up a while. The Starry Saturn Skies are gonna be out all night. — origami_alligator

Yes, I have noticed that as well. I am trying to keep my tastes varied, personally. Pheidi has had a lot of featured maps as of yet (I think the most of anyone so far). But I'm sure as new map makers and old map makers alike are discovered by the writers there will be much more variation.

Also, arachnid has taken steps to ensuring that there is quite a variation in all categories of maps. IF not I would email him about it. I loved this map so much though, I couldn't resist featuring it.
