| Description | "Yikes!" shouted the ninja, "That succubus was no sweet maiden. She meant to kill me, I'm sure!"
"Now, why was I down here? I can't recall." The ninja approached a sign that read "The Spine". "The Deep?" thought the ninja, "I remember that from somewhere, but I simply cannot recall where. Curse that river Styx. It has wiped my memory clean!" "Let me think. Why would I undertake a life-threatening venture to go into the bowels of the earth? That's surely suicide!" "Of course! Gold!" The ninja looked downward along the spine. Floating veins of blood and fire formed the vertebrae of this unearthly spine. The smell of salt and metal rose from within--an odd smell for such a place. "Piece of cake!" |
