for the double post, but I meant to write wasn't and not was. I really liked coma though, it was very impressive in comparasin.
Personally, It's just that I started to get into races and when I reached this one, it was as clear, fun and good as the others, I saw the demos and I went a really wrong way, I couldn't find out the path :(. 3/5

the only annoying bit being the first bounce block getting in the way...

a good atmosphere

produces an impression upon the user. a good atmosphere produces an emotion within the user. and a good atmosphere changes the way the user views the world. it can be done rather easily from video games. it's just a bit more difficult (and abstract) to do it in n.

I really like the aesthetics. The flow was pretty nice, too.

I agree with yungerkid - in fact, I would say the same thing about all maps, especially DDAs. Without an atmosphere, a map is just a map. With an atmosphere, it's something that you'll actually remember.

glad to see another main racemaker picking up on it. i would encourage you to run with it. there is generic, there is abstract, and there is that which transcends even the editor.
there. now this is the type of race that will keep the genre alive. there are only so many flow arrangements that we can use (even with da_man's "little things" innovations), but there are soooo many atmospheres that we can use. i'm not even talking about themes. there are many atmospheres that, when properly infused into races, transcend the generic (overused) quality of the flow and produce an ultimately unique product. atmosphere is the future of racemaking.

There are a couple points in this race where you need to exercise a little control, like where you almost jump into the chaingun. But that's the whole point ^^
