then you hit the trapdoors and it got much worse :/
Pretty nice for a first though, if you work on creating an atmosphere within a race, as well as improving your aesthetics, i think you could make something really great.

I guess i misinterpreted him. The level in question refered to one that wasn't really flowy, but i wanted it done fast, as a challenge.

I don't think this is a race. A race forces you to finish the level under a sort of time limit; otherwise, have something blocking the way to the exit. This just makes you go fast.
