a good, open and enjoyable map which draws a person to the map, this map is one of those rare maps which draws peoples to itself, biocriyoc, this is 1 heck of a map which deserves the feature. congretz!!! :)

Took me a while because I'm often to cocky. But I enjoyed it fully. I only hated dying, but that's my fault!

Because I learned a long time he's in it for the "fame," not because he enjoys making maps. On the rare occasion I do play one of his maps, I find it to be aesthetically and conceptually dead. A shambling, Frankensteinian pastiche of stylings and mechanics cut-and-pasted from better maps.

You have discovered that partially quoting to remove context can change the meaning of the original statement. However it makes you look rather stupid.

And yes, it does. That fact that you attack my vanity, and then display an identical trait shows that you are not sincere in claiming it to be an issue. Were it so abbhorant to you, you would not commit an identical crime. This in turn shows that you are merely making up a baseless argument to justify an opinion, which could really only be that you believe yourself better than others.

After making that statement, and reading how highly you thought of your own mapping ability, I decided to play some of your maps to see whether your claims had any merit, and yeah, I have to say, I am surprised that you actually have features, because frankly, your argument makes absolutely no sense with that fact in play. If you legitimately believed what you were stating, why did you not actually...provide an argument that wasn't rediculous?

Based of this fact, I have to say, I've come to the conclusion that you are in fact not envious of others. Just stupid.

Don't even try to pass off "he only reviews maps made by his friends" as constructive criticism. Because it's impossible. that was a blatant stab, and the fact that you then tried to turn around and claim that it was "constructive critisism" is...well, honestly, kinda pathetic. It shows that you have no ability to construct a real argument, so you have to make one up out of non-existant logic and general asshattery.

One, I would be very surprised if those mines were intended to be circular. I think you would have to actually be attempting to fuck it up for it to come out like this were that so, and well, to be blunt, this is a GHM/Bio map, not a squibbles one. That point pretty much boils down to which style you prefer, rounded mines or squiggly, and I personally loved that Bio and GHM chose to /not/ to make it round. The complex itself is rather geometric, and I feel it made a nice juxtaposition, which heightened the contrast between the interior and exterior.

I write reviews to supplement the map, not to let you know that I liked it. The fact that I reviewed it at all should do that.

I've talked to Pony like, twice. Ever. And ithacus and I never had very much interaction at all. He never got on IRC or the forums. Ever. The most that every happened between us was a collab, because I demanded it, because frankly, he's amazing. Hence the two reviews? yeah?
