He tells a tells a rumour, It spreads like plague, has people talkin' (talkin')

Oh! Ganteka's a liar!

By his computer, near break of day, He's sat there typin' (typin')

I shall just say this: I've spent the last... ooh... 3 weeks away from the people on this site i love , and writing parodies is a hobby of mine. Combining a map with a parody, and posting it whilst on holiday, make of that what you will. But being away from friends hurts more than having to spend every day with my brother... You try going a month with no contact to your friends, The_Farman.

AGD.

That's a great song. 5aved.

You'll regret every minute on the computer because that minute could have been spent doing something useful; practising guitar, singing. Writing a book. Poetry.

I just thought I'd point out here that it is actually possible to do things on the computer that are useful...
Such as writing a book, painting a picture, learning skills that will be useful for future jobs if you're a kid, reading... those are off the top of my head, I could think of quite a few more if I thought about it... But this arguement is both pointless and done.
When I say this, I'm assuming that you don't just mean while on vacation. Because if you do, O.o

it's summer vacation, this site's loaded with pathetic people :D

Dear Janet,

Thank you for the books, they were really good even although I didn't understand what they were on about. Please give me some simpler ones next time that I can follow properly.

Love, Noel.

Yeah it's pretty shitty but they were from Linda Fairstein about Alexandra Cooper dunno if you've hear of em but really strange writing style.

Oh fuck.

Really got to go now guys. Glad to have caused an argument that's ended happily. But yeah, gotta write a note for janet for tomorrow to thank her for the books or I'll get slapped (happened last time. wasn't long enough, apparently I should spend more time writing it and not slap it on a postit)

*returns*

Naa I'm just saying it's a little silly in my opinion. Me and computers haven't had a good history. Also, I would say seventeen is old enough to learn some values, but definitely not all of them (I'd say about 50. :/ I'm young too you know)
at least not the same amount; but you can't honestly think that spending a lone hour on the computer is that bad. I for one enjoy talking to some of the people on this community. If you think that 17 isn't old enough to learn values, then I'll respect your opinion, though I disagree.

Also, if you don't want to spend any time at all on the computer during your holiday, that's fine. If you think your friend shouldn't be spending 5 hours a day on the xbox, you're probably right. But telling someone they should spend no time at all playing games while on holiday is a little extreme, don't you think?

...

You think it's in one session I suppose. I'm done now.

Um

The times on your comments betray you, farman, since you first commented over an hour ago...
Not fast thinker or typer hehe.

,.,

Seneschal.

Yeah I'm on a computer... I'm on it for what, 30 minutes maximum a day. This argument is finished now, I can't be bothered to argue to stubbornness.
When I was a kid, I grew up with a mega drive. A fucking mega drive. And I was allowed on it for about 20 minutes a day, and was belted if I was on it for longer. Although my dad was a complete and utter dick to me, he did it for a reason. He knew that the amount of time you spend on the computer reflects later on in life. You think, you may have spent a ton of time with your family, but you could have spent more with them. Once you learn the value of love (that will be a couple of years for you, reading your profile) you will understand that you can never spend enough time with them. You'll regret every minute on the computer because that minute could have been spent doing something useful; practising guitar, singing. Writing a book. Poetry. I suppose reading this you think I should be with my family now. Truth be told, I can't. If I could, I would. But my wife works at a nursery at night so that's pretty hard to do isn't it, especially with the baby sleeping.

You spend your free time on the computer. I have nothing against that. I'm not saying you shouldn't do it at home, but people play for hours on end. I have a friend at work who spends the time he gets on the Xbox for about 5 hours a day. Come the fuck on dude, you think that's good? He's married, two kids, yet he kicks his son off of the xbox to go on it himself.

In my family though, holiday has always been about spending time with family. I never had many holidays as a kid, and if I did it was to Calais, or Dublin at best. Most of the time it was a trip to Skegness in a caravan yet I still spent the whole time with my family.

If you're too small-minded to accept that going on holiday is supposed to be entirely different your regular schedule, wait until you find a girlfriend (if you already have one, I apologise) and then you'll never think twice.

Eh?

Computer games aren't everything, and once you get older you'll start to regret the time you've spent on them and wished you'd put more time into your productive interests.

Says a guy on a computer. Playing a computer game.
You can do all those things you listed and still spend an hour or two on the computer and relaxing. It's really not that hard to understand.

Allow me to direct you to something I just said a little while ago that you obviously disregarded:

"Even when I was on vacation this past week, I still wrote a pair of songs and made about 5 or so maps. Oh, and I spent /tons/ of time with my family."

I'm still arguing.

Because you're being a complete fucking idiot. A holiday, vacation or whatever you call it is not just extra time away from school to play on your games. Spend that much time on the computer when you're older and I guarantee you'll become obese. It isn't a statement, it's a fact.

You think, when you go on holiday, vacation, or whatever, that spending a couple of hours on the computer is a good use of your time? Honestly? You could spend that couple of hours visiting buildings, buying antiques, swimming, going to the beach, spending time with family, whatever. The more time doing those things that most people actually do on holiday the better, and not throwing it away on the computer like a complete retard.

Fuck you

I don't care how old you are, making generalizations like "that is the ultimate in pathetic" and "that's when you start to become obese" are shallow-minded, retarded and just flat-out wrong generalizations.

<Chord> i'm busy arguing with farman though

It's his life

not yours.
That playing online games on holiday is the ultimate in pathetic. Sitting on a computer whilst in a foreign country where you can do whatever you like is sad. Very sad. You think when I'm on holiday, I sit in the lobby putting euros in a computer so I can browse this site? Go do something productive on holiday. It's a time that you have away from the world, an escape if you like. Not a time to sit at a computer which you have hours to do at home. It's fine if you're looking up tourist resort but games are a big NO. When you find yourself doing that, that's when you start to become obese.

When you grow up you'll understand.

Agree with ...

...

maxson.
if you think you need a "break" from N, then apparently you don't enjoy it that much. Even when I was on vacation this past week, I still wrote a pair of songs and made about 5 or so maps. Oh, and I spent /tons/ of time with my family.

So yeah, you can do what you want on your holiday, and ChrisE can do whatever he wants on his.

...

On holiday. Pardon me, but the point of being on holiday is to get away from life and enjoy yourself. And nobody stays awake for 24 hours a day.

It's just really dumb going on N when on holiday. That's when you need a break.

Haha

same thing, seven seconds apart XD

Lol

*Clone*

Um

24 hours in a day, Farman. Plenty of time to do both, and more...
there are 24 hours in a day.

Pf.

Playing N on your holiday isn't good. Like, spend time with your family? That's what most people do. Yeah.

uh, farman

ChrisE can do whatever the fuck he wants on his holiday :/

1000

That's the number of rates you have.

PS:

If you're playing on N whilst on holiday then I really feel sorry for you. You should be enjoying your time away from home.

In fact.

The whole description is stupid.

Really nerdy edits.

Honestly.
