Magmatic Eruption

Coming back and replaying this provided something special to me: a challenge race. MattyMc and XY, two great race makers, show us what they can achieve when they combine their efforts. Despite that they are both retired, we are still left with Magmatic Eruption, a race that isn't overwhelmed by bouncy blocks, but shows them to their fullest extent. The flow isn't one of the toughest things to accomplish, but finding the flow provides a unique racing experience. the flow was great... as most people seemed to have done, i tried jumping off the first jump and the one up top.
this was annoying at first, but in the end it feels like youve done something.
great work. will definately play this one again.

The flow was SO unintuitive, which made figuring out the path a bit of a challenge... I thought that turned out to be pretty fun, though :)

very nice
for one thing, i couldnt trace the route from the thumbnail (mainly because i thought you were supposed to jump off the first slope), which can be said of very few races these days. all the enemies were reliable and added to the atmosphere and the flow was fun too. the end was a bit tricky to get right, maybe if it was a double jump it would be more predictable but it was great fun. 4.5v

Truly excellent
Not the best of these bounce block races, but definately one of the top three with ease. The aesthetics were much better in full view than the thumnail led me to assume. The close calls were nice, and the flow was inventive and smooth to boost. The main thing this race has going for it though, is that it makes you think a lot, which is something not evident in most races (including my own, i think.) currently being made. Good job! 4/5.
