Distraught and anguished, he cares not about contrived form or trite mechanics, and splashes his soul onto the canvas before him. Ultimately, like all geniusus, he gives birth to a creation that trancends the norm like a gift from the etheral plain.
AlOnE_AnD_bRoKeN is that genius.

I actually really liked this map, despite pretty much nobody else feeling similarly, but, well, everyone else can Q.Q more.
I wrote a bigass explanation for my feelings, but apparently justification of beliefs is frowned upon by some higher power. I really cannot be arsed doing it again, but suffice to say, I am miffed that a comment that I spent about 20 minutes thinking about and writing was deleted for no reason at all. I will not rewrite it, because honestly, it isn't worth the effort, and I'm a little drunk right now. >_>
Point is, thanks, and I'm sorry if you disagree about the map, and are also unable to read my reasoning because of someone being...actually, I have no idea what they were being. I cannot even imagine the motive for deleting such a comment. >_>

"this is great!! ^_^ 5favedd@" isn't gonna help you identify your weaknesses (or your strengths for that matter) and work on them. I mean, mzapacer's comment is the stupidest I've seen in a long time, but there's been a lot of useful criticism here that you could learn from, too.

gameplay-wise the map is in fact average
the little thing i see in this review is the example of what this game can do for people. that sounds cheesy but hey this map obviously shows emotion, and how this game can be tied to our lives. its usually for some kind of enjoyment, but here its a good vent. just interesting

There's nothing wrong with this map
it's not bad. But the review gives the reader such high expectations that the map is bound to fail. Personally, while I don't dislike the map, I don't think it's anything special, and the review was seriously overdone :s

Perhaps to stop the occasional troll, and to engender a little more happiness with the features, the reviewers should have a "buddy system" for selecting them.
That way at least there's more than one person to defend the map, instead of everybody getting pissed at squibbles. It's getting old.

I want to correct my earlier comment. When I said, "this wasn't so bad" I meant the comments, not the map.
The simplicity of this map is what makes it stand out. There's no way to cheat, and really only one route, but I can play it over and over.

Meant that said reviewer liked the map, not "hey everyone will like this let me show them". So step off of squibbles, and I would be saying this whether it was my map being featured or not.

There was zero profanity, zero racial slurs and zero biggotry. Thanks for deleting a comment which did nothing but explain why I liked a map. If you would like to find more of these intolerable comments which serve to illustrate what I believe to be meritorious qualities in a map, you may find some more here [nmaps.net]. I would hate to see someone upset by my constructive criticism and apologies, and given that this is apparently a likelyhood, you may wish to also check those maps, as they surely contain such comments.

the tiles or objects don't create any sense of "atmosphere" so I'm not really sure what you're doing with the review. The entire review is hyperbole. What about this map transcends the norm? The drones were done better in a krusch map 130000 maps ago. The golds been placed like that more times than I can count. And the tiles are largely uninspiring. I'm frankly shocked you think this is feature worthy.
