|Description||100th map. Birthday map. Killer combo? Killer. Perhaps you should play this map ;)
Ok, so... yeah, this is really more of a concept than an actual fine-tuned finished project (in case you couldn't tell :P), but I really like this concept so let me know what you think.
Q: But, but, aero, why didn't you just wait and make a fine-tuned finished project?
A: Because, curious one, I wanted thoughts on the idea first and I wanted to submit a map on my birthday AND I wanted attention so I could advertise some of my favorite maps that I've made these past 11 months :P
I still haven't reached a point where I'm making, like, good maps, but I feel as though I've improved (with ups and downs, naturally), and I feel sure that I will eventually reach the point where I can make consistently good maps, even though that may take a while haha.
So here are some of my maps you should probably check out:
Watch Out For Cyclists [nmaps.net] My favorite map, and, surprisingly, one of my earliest. It's simple, difficult, and addictive (for me, anyway).
Heckled en route to the guillotine [nmaps.net] Likely my 2nd favorite, (despite a so-so response) it also presents my favorite concept, which inspired this map. You have to cleverly dodge rockets while stuck between two drones. It requires both planning and technical skill, and oh yeah, it's hard xD
Let Them Think They're Winning [nmaps.net] A KRA of epic proportions, it has its flaws (you might complain about it being ugly, and it being, psh, too hard) but it nearly plays like a race, now I think about it. Hmm, I guess I like maps that require quick thinking, huh? ;)
Enjoy the Ride [nmaps.net] The crazyrace, the genre I introduced myself to numa with (see my first map [nmaps.net]). I've always enjoyed making them and playing them. YES it looks noobish, YES it even plays noobish, BUT I have barrels of fun playing it every time, and it's my favorite crazyrace :)
So even if all those don't suit you, you can still feel free to browse my archive on my profile (mind you the recommendations do need revising). Quite a few maps there are genuinely bad however, so do watch your click (I don't delist, I like letting myself and others see my progress, instead of trying to pretend I've always made good maps or something).
Um, cheers to anyone and everyone who has played my maps, commented, criticized, rated, etc., etc. Some of you have done so more than others but you know who you are, thanks ;) (don't want to mention anyone by name for fear of my forgetfulness)
Oh, and if RadiumFalcon is reading this I'd like his opinion on my last map.
