The object placement in the laser section is a little too purposefully annoying, but otherwise the execution is great, imo. I would've loved to see stuff like this in the maingame.

Great map you guys.

I had a lot of fun playing this. The drone-trapping was a lot of fun, and then flying through the tunnels.

The lasers worked great.

For me, the fun and lure of the map come from the flow. I find it very fulfilling to not only find a path to get all of the gold efficiently, but also to make sure I arrive at the switches at a time when the drone is nearing the trap area. On top of that, I have to make sure the lasers cooperate and don't mess me up too badly. Accomplishing all of this is challenging and I feel rewarded for doing so.

However, it's not so challenging that it becomes heavy-handed. I think the objects and the tiles in the map lend themselves to very open and flowy gameplay. At the same time, the map's concept makes me stop and think, keeping me on my toes and giving the map some of its challenge. I think that this mix creates some of the map's appeal, at least for me.

Now, it's probably true that I'm only defending the map as such because I helped build it and am therefore extremely biased, but fuck it; that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

Nice concept. And I love the contrast between the open, trap-triggering, laser-dodging play of the first part and then the tense scurrying through drone and trap-door infested tunnels. 4.5^aved
