First off

I don't think you know how idealistic this opinion is. Bias is something that can never disappear, no matter how hard you try. It's ideal yes, but can't ever happen in real life. But bias in a rating system is not a surprise, it is expected. Not everyone will like a map because they think different from each other and they can never follow the same path unless we live in a world as seen in a "Brave New World" where people are trained to think the same from birth. Instead we live in this world, where people take the map for what it is and form different opinions about it. I still feel that art is entirely subjective and can't have a scale of a Grade A piece to a Grade B, C, D, etc. piece. Races can, Action maps would be harder but still possible, Dda's can, most can except art.
