Description	<< 500th Map >> Thanks go out mostly to incluye and yungerkid, for being my best friends here on metanet since so long ago i don't even remember. Thanks also though to koipen, you've been a real inspiration to me these last few months. Not just for the maps that you've made and dedicated to me, but also for commenting and playing through so much of my catalogue. It means a lot. Thanks also to everybody that plays this map, because I doubt i'll ever have a milestone this large again. My mapping is slowing down, and I can't see myself reaching 1000. That being the case, I really hope you enjoy this. I've tried to create a race that sums me up as a mapper. Creative flow, original mechanics, and that tileset style that you all complain everybody does these days. I was the one that came up with it, after all.

I'm glad I didn't miss this one! I haven't visited NUMA for a few months and saw that you had only just subbed this. It was definitely worth the effort of figuring out how to get N working on Ubuntu just to play this and be able to congratulate you properly on this massive achievement! 500 maps of this quality is no mean feat. If I find the time I intend to celebrate my 25th in style as I doubt I'll ever get to 50!

I reckon you've made a lot better

sorry. Didn't think flow was /that/ hard to find though. This didn't take me too many tries without the demo. Thwump bit was cool. But overall didn't find it super fun, plus a few of the loops were a little clunky. I mean they worked, but just not super smoothly. Also I reckon the map wasn't great enough to hold it''s ground without rockets/gausses/chains/whatever making it more exciting. but anyway. props on 500. You've made some great maps for sure

I'm not giving up on mapping in any way, it's just a case of I do more things in my spare time these days. Not to mention i'm a guitar teacher too now, which takes up some of my time. I will still put out maps when the mood takes, i'm just not certain how frequently that will be anymore.

Not much of a fan :/

A couple of things make me cringe:

First off was the gold patterns: the first one was clunky looking and the second was gathered in two separate pass-throughs, both I dislike.

Second was the trap door mechanism, which I generally dislike even though this is decently done (but still testy).

Third was the flow after the trap door (which I thought at first went another way entirely). I needed your demo to find the flow, which does go against your teachings :P Actually now that I think about it, I'm not a fan of any of the doors on an aesthetical ground, except maybe the trap doors by the thwumps.

Overall I don't know what type of race I like to play, except perhaps the exact opposite of what koipen likes, seeing that he finally 5'd one. ;)

Man, I'll be lucky if I get to 200 at the rate I'm going.

Personally, I think you've made better races. That's not to say though, that this was a pretty neat specimen of a race. Good aesthetics, good and innovative flow path, and a nice replay factor. Like koipen, I thought the start to be a little bit temperamental - many a time I screwed up in some way, and I also thought the launchpad section at the top right to be slightly unsightly and... against your teachings... :P But I understand that this was the most practical method of doing things. Nice adrenaline charge, this map had, and overall a pretty damn good play. Congrats on the 500. 4/5
