| Description | In beforetimes only select few got features. This created a severe class division in NUMA. There were people with features and people with not. The recent reviewer update changed this. Now many many people have features and it is aspiring, as people can actually get a feature, unlike before.
But now people are trying hard to get everyone featured, as not to create a class division again. This forced featuring gets us bad maps and unhappy customers. I think that many people do have featureworthy maps, but finding them is just too timeconsuming. There should be a "feature this" button on top of a map. The maps with the most recommendations would appear to reviewers to review. Happy people, good maps. I for one can't write a review but can choose maps not to be featured. |

One feature per day, that is the way
and it has always been this way (with the exception of one Saturday) since the beginning. The acceleration has always been no different. People just learn to get out of the n00by phase and make good maps that get features. Nobody is trying to be a socialist and spread a feature to everyone. One feature for each day.
As for your recommendation idea so we can have "good" maps featured, I give you two suggestions.
1. Make maps that aren't blank sheets with rants attached.
2. Read my profile.

It would take y'all an hour at most...
to make a tumblr which /could/ do this. It would be wise for not to wait around for NUMA to change, because it won't. It can't without Arachnid here. So if you want something improved, take the time to do it yourself instead of just bitching about, mmkay?

We could just re-enable Highest Rated maps
But they removed that for a reason, which is probably the same as why they are trying to have a wider range of features.
