You're learning may things today.. :P

fbf, frame by frame

Actually it is another way to play, devilish hard at least to me and to some people, basically consists in playing under Ned and frame by frame, that's means you need play at Ned without having caps lock on, then you can choose your move (left, right, jump, nothing, and all possible combos of keys) to each frame of the run, pressing the wanted move in the keys and cliking one time on the mouse, each click/movemet it ia a frame, the Ninja moves in the Ned interface frame by frame. It's a hard method to finally get how' it's works or a good run with it, at least for me. But many people like misty, rozer and some others usually do. It's also used to found optimal routes, cheat maps or doing some cool tricks. Also it's used for many people sometimes to do Simple Challenges, since them are pretty easiest to make a fbf run than a whole action map. Also for chimneying. You can give a try with VODKA's maps to start to learn fbf. It was one of the principal motives cos that series was made, on how learning to fbf.. ;)
also ive been meaning to ask you, what does frame by frame mean? i notice a lot of people talking about it
It's not only coding and writing the demo number by number, previously knowing the correspondences of each frame sequence numbers for each movement of the Ninja, it's more than this, It's knowing what the Ninja need does perfectly to satisfactorily get a maxed run. That's even more hard than an fbf demo man..

ahh, yes i see

damn, that must take ages to do, you would have to be really good at coding, which im not.

like a normal demo works, but the difference it is that he had made them as they are called, manually built demos. I think it's explained in the thread but also here. It's basically coding and writing the demo number by number, previously knowing the correspondences of each frame sequence numbers for each movement of the Ninja. You can take a look here: http://n.wikia.com/wiki/Manually_Built_Demos

Faster is still possible.

so...

how do these manual demos work?

holy shit

those demos are incredible, i especially like the one he did for 80-3

hahaha, no

It's something diferent and much more cool.. Please give a look to this Thread, spend some time and look the demos attached there in the first post or later.. ;) Also, you can see some Raif's demos on VODKA's series to see also his skillz.

no, dont think i have, i think ive seen a manually built level though, thats where you type the code instead of placing the tiles isnt it?

I think, in 5 zoas' maps or so.. ;)

I forgot to say that Raif is a great cheater too because of their knowledge of N and glitchs. You ever seen a MBD?

ahh ok

speaking of VODKALOVER's series, how's session 2 going?

a great well-stablished highscorer/speedrunner with impressive skills, the creator of the MBD (Manually Built Demos), which has maxed a lot of the original Metanet maps under this method, knowing the N interface perfectly, and a lot of more stuff...
