Map Data

Description This one has a rocket...

Each horizontal square is pi/15 and the heights were rounded to the nearest 1/2. Zero is the bottom half of the center row, which is why the graph is not centered vertically.

This map is dedicated to Blackson because his map influenced this one.

Obviously my is more symmetrical but I used half tiles and tried do be minimalist. Of course mine is not as minimalist because no one can be a minimal as Blackson.

Also check out Sin(x) [nmaps.net].
And the one with a rocket Cos(x) with gauss [nmaps.net]
And (1/4)Tan(x) [nmaps.net]

and its hard to avoid since the rocket is following you-
maybe a gauss instead?

Not bad.

But I agree with blackson, though.

This works,

but not quite as well as the sin map. Descending / ascending got a little repetitive with the consistent mine/gold pattern. Maybe mix it up so the experience is varied? Also, for me minimalism is a curse. I am a slave to nice looking maps with good aesthetics. As a result, most of my maps play kind of shitty. Minimalism is good, just don't become dependent on it!

more fun than sine... im sure those with more skill could do the right side by following the curve and getting agd...
