Description I've been contemplating and restudying my mapping a little. So, I want to try new things for me, like working quite more on each map as something unique. Thinking more in the whole, and trying to visualize the possible future gaming experience on every map from another point of view, trying to look at my maps as if they were not mine, and thus be overly more demanding and critical of my own work. Taking care of the small details, specifically evaluating whether a particular object is better there or four pixels to the left. Thinking not only about aesthetics, if not also about the atmosphere. And trying to always find there another fault more, so that way I can go a little further.

Of course, the theme for this current column will be the same, Superstructures, that I want to clarify that it is not specifically based on structures, despise its name, if not in on a concrete way to use the objects to make that the playable area or the level's place look bigger on each map. Trying to place small mechanics here and there, and creating the structure in such way that the Ninja may looks in a place much more extense than the usual. I've to say that it is something hard to achieve, at least for me, because I always end with something a bit more established and structured in my own limits, or much more fluid gameplays, that it is something that I'm used to do. It's really challenging to creating atmospheres such as brainstone or miststalker did. What I want to say it's that I have in my mind some kinds of structures and objects dispositions that make the playable area looks more extense, but in the end for one or another reason I do not get to reproduce it, but hey, I'm really close to get it. :P Anyway, what I am achieving into many of the maps that are to come, is basing they in flowing mixtures of small mechanicals certainly interesting and unusual.

For this one, I just wanted to work with a single laser as active enemy. Also having a separate challenge for the Speedrun/Key obtainment in where there is enough room for experienced players do cheats and tricks. If you find the laser cutting you the road at the ending, maybe you need to go faster.

Anyhow, I want to apologize for such inappropriate block of text, I just wanted to write some words in this one after almost another month break. Smiles and applauses, or tears and jeers are really well welcome. Enjoy!

or you could start off

or we could do a mansion, if its not too cliche

I won't relist it, but I can't stop you from linking it on your profile.

I just don't find it fun or I have some other things which keep me focused - mostly making simple text games, imporing my php/js skills and made a 2d map editor for a rpg game which might work out, depends on my team as well.. but shh. ;d

And I'm burned out of N atm. ; d

AGD

Got me hooked for a bit there. Solid map though! Had a nice progressive feel to it and felt a lot more developed that your previous maps. I say this because you took one idea and just went at, and in the process, made something clean and enjoyable. You've pretty much just stated clearly what you said in the description and executed it in the map. The laser was a bit too good at some points, but a small wait could fix that and give some more leisure. I did, however, love the barren emptiness of the left side and how it works if you decide to go for it later in the map. That was quite cool! Overall, a very enjoyable map with a few trouble areas that can be varied easily. 4/5
