It is true that map number per year declined since 2012, and part of it is trouble with the site (my guess).
As for me, if the Dronies would happen - cool. If not - that's okay with me too. Yet, I think there should (but not neccesarily) be a wider discussion on whether it should happen or not, considering all the points you introduced.

well, I don't know much either, but my guess would be: taking 5 (or any other number) most popular nominations in each category and put those for voting, or something. Or, you could count which was the most popular nomination and make it a winner. Though I don't think that'd work.

just wondering. As far as I know, and that might not be much, the nomination phase has ended, with Aidiera as former admin nominating last. There are 28 nominations in total, and hell if I know where you can find the data.
Maybe Aidiera knows something. Usually, there's a voting phase after that, yeah.
