Map Data

Description Took about 3 or 4 hours, building/tweaking and playtesting alternately. It's about as long as a long map should be, and coming back is easier because of the switches. An interesting blend of flowy and precice.

I'm using puzzle because it's slightly more puzzle than action in my opinion.

Extra note: Please note that some areas are optional, though they generally help you if you go through them.

Maybe, but

1) The fact that an author can complete a map doesn't mean much.

2) The fact that this computer runs N ok but lags horribly every few minutes makes long maps hard to demo, though I can still playtest them.

3) Some top authors, purely for example - Atramentis - rarely (if ever) post demos for their maps, despite myself finding them hard.

If I can't play a map because of my skill level or other reasons besides design incompetence, I will not rate a map. That seems fair to me.

On the other hand, it is probably good to encourage really hard levels like this to be made into easier versions.

Not always true

So far you're wrong :P . The best hard maps still get good ratings, if they show a lot of work and aren't frustratingly hard. The best way to stop lowered ratings for a hard map, IMO, is to post a demo yourself. People can't say "it's too hard" if you're like "here, I completed it, stop whining" ;)

nice one.

This is as far as I got on limited time.

I'd have to stop making hard levels altogether because they never get over a 4 no matter how much work I put into them. It's the old 'I can't finish it so I'll give it a low score' routine. This is a response to the lowered rating rather than the two comments.
just it's sooooooooooooooo hard. This isn't bad or anything though...

Well planned

Everything is placed where they should be, a variety of challenges, and difficult in a good way.
