Again, apologies for the lateness. I'm lazy.

And Tanner's on hiatus.

Artist Commentary of the Third Kind

Sept's up!

Ditt Doot: One time on IRC, 9400 said he wanted a tileset, so I just launched N and didn't know what the hell I was gonna do and this resulted.

If I Were a Carp: I think this is probably my best map. I love the idea of it, and the gameplay. Short and sweet. Also, the name comes from the Final Fantasy (Owen Pallett) song If I Were a Carp.

Juicy with a Z: I /think/ this map was inspired by a Senday map, not sure. The title derives from a Midnight Brown song Nasty with Two S's. Also, I don't know exactly where you put the Z, maybe replacing the C?

Ekang/warparasol: I just had the idea of epic-ness, and I recently played a little flash game that was a platformer where at on part you walk along the spine of some dinosaur skeleton, and I really enjoyed the idea so I used it in the map. Too bad the skeleton in my map doesn't look anything close to a skeleton. :/

Deliverater: Now this map is weird. I just started out in NED playing around trying to make a map, but I REALLY hated the tiles, so I screwed it up with a snotload of three-tiles everywhere and added those weird little mouse gold pattern thingies. I'd say the map came out pretty well. The title either comes from some gibberish I made up or from some Beastie Boys song when I misheard a word by one of them.

--. .. .-. .-.. ..-. .-. .. . -. -..: The first map after deleting all my old ones. I kinda had a rough idea in my head of what it would be. Basically, I just tried to remember what Aju's map A Thousand Dollar Ski Trip looked like, and that's what I got. The name also came from a dream I had, and my obsession of cryptography and morse and other stuff.

Dying with Empathy, AKA Awesome Forces!: The title comes from me randomly asking Amlt for a name for the map without even showing it to him, and the title of The Aquabats song Awesome Forces! The tiles aren't much, but I love the arrangement of the objects.

Return to Hot Chicken: I was blown away by Heartview's Chicken in a Banana Tree, so I ripped it off with this. ;_; The title also comes from a sweet-as-gravy song by Yo La Tengo.

We Are: I reallllllly wanted to make a map that was tough, so I just made a map that was not too tough but atleast presented some challenge. The title comes from a song by the Korean pop band Deux.

Teeth revealed and weird hair and eyes: This map reminds me of Aju soooo much, just the tiles. Honestly, I was gonna add more stuff to the map than just exit, ninja, gold, and the gauss, but I guess I kinda forgot. >_<

Atlantis to Interzone: I think this was inspired by a Metanet map, I can't remember the name at the moment though. I think the tiles were kinda same in the way, but a bit more simple, and the gameplay was definitely wayyy different. This title too like almost all the others comes from a song, Atlantis to Interzone by Klaxons. (I /GOTTA/ stop using song names for titles, 'cause it's really making this artist commentary REALLY dull. :/)

See you in a few days!
