Currently I'm somewhere inside a Super Hexagon.
I always play without watching any Demo until I get my own Run.
Also, I always try to Highscore or Speedrun each map without watching any Run too.
And I always play in real time. The vast majority of the time on Ned.
Lately I'm using NReality and its Leaderboards quite more.
I use the space to jump. Arrow keys to move. And the k key to suicide often.
I can not play in the office, I just recently fired from my job. So I do not use much the Boss Mode.

TOP 3 ULTIMATE MAPPING TIPS:

You just play the map yourself, and if you hit a mine, you remove it (also works for rockets, drones and such).
If you do not feel comfortable playing the map, think others will not be either.
And never, never give out a map without getting yourself two full demos, all the gold and speedrun.
