| Description | So...I'm finally done.
This little piece has taken me well over 50 hours of work, and I started it in march...I'm glad I had breaks now that I've looked at my log...yes, thats right...i have a log of mapping activity. I guess this just shows that either I'm amazing, or any chump can make one of these...I think it's the latter...especially judged by the poor quality of the game over screen. Oh, and just in case anyone is wondering, it has 3940 objects, and did rape my computer. It should be better when 1.5 comes out though. :D |

ya, you did use real tetris peices
something I failed to do, I won't complain, I won't rate either, I started working on another tetris game using real peices and having the next peice in the corner, but I decided not to waiste time on something while I could be making a diffrence in the world.

but the pieces get seriously deformed as they move downwards.

I saw the first snake one in feburary-ish...pretty much right after I joined. That's where I pulled my 'inspiration' from.

Yeah, the biggest problem is that as it goes on, the framerate increases...so I sacrificed quality for quantity.

This one was longer, but the quality wasn't nearly as good as wumbla's. But you used actual pieces, and it had the next piece thing in the corner. So, more features and longer, but less quality. Still, 5.

Regardless of how 'impressive' the effort here is, how fun is it really to watch someone playing tetris?

Pros: You used actual Tetris pieces! You showed the upcoming piece! This is really cool!
Cons: You seemed to do things two at a time, which made it look much less fluid. The mines still show a little after they're covered up. The line deletion could have been done much better. Too much gold/mines, you could have easily used less to almost the same effect.
NR, because I would give it a 4.5/5, but I don't have the heart to give it a "perfect" nor a "B-". Stupid new NUMA. I miss the old one.
