When do you post your maps?

Time of day is important. Don't post your best map at the crack of dawn. The afternoon, around three, is when I've posted my maps that have gotten the most feedback.

placement, and objects. No one rates because you dont spend enough time on your maps...try taking your time...and don't complain if no one rates...once your maps "brighten up" so will your rate count...

I suffer the same problem. Many of my maps only require ONE MORE RATING to get an official rating. Tell you what, you rate mine, and I'll rate yours. That's fair.

The purpose of no comments is that it's so bad, that people don't even look at it.

I suggest you look at other maps, and try to map well, instead of relying on others. If you rely on others, you won't succeed as an individual, and never obtain the goal you want, completely.
