Hey paws

Will it be ok if I link you to a delisted map for my entry into the octogang contest?
Back when death took on a whole new meaning, when death wasn't something feared, it was something that was inevitable. It was a deed to the city to fight for the sanctity of the others in the kingdom.
You are that savior, a man who is quick, agile, and above all brave. You have many enemies that want nothing more then to watch you burn. Now we need you to retrieve all of the stolen treasures and get to the escape before your name is added to the ever long list of fallen hero's.
Are you in?
This map is a perfect test of your dedication to gold retrieval. Prove that you are the new found hero and the messiah of this time...

Lol.

His name is 'Hajtun'.
Here is his last map:

He snipes maps and flames.
It's just annoying... >>

Ok cool

:)

If

that's not a good review, please explain to me how to write a good one.
This level revolves around the two things that ninjas care about most: gold and adrenaline. The gold, well, is pretty much a “duh.” Adrenaline, on the other hand, is what you want most. You’ll want to get as much speed as possible, even if it means hearing the uncanny sound of broken fog. With all this speed, momentum, and legerity, you may find some flow in this map. The rockets and tiles works so well together, it’s just incredible.

Now remember: if you don’t play this map and enjoy it, I will throw you into this dying world and trust me, you won’t be Will Smith.

Hey man

If I ever wanted reviewer status again would you give it to me? I had it for a while but didn't have enough time to write any.

Though I don't want it at the moment. Just wondering - like for the future.

I just want to say that this all-the-time features is some of the most fun I've had at numa. <3

your, not you're ;]

well you're surprise surprised me ;]
I have always been attracted to race maps. However, many of them are too difficult for my admittedly horrible skill level. Generally speaking, any race map that becomes popular frustrates me until I walk away, never having truly enjoyed it.
That is, until Bush comes along and hits me upside the head. Riobe openly warns of its difficulty and challenges everyone to make an attempt. After countless runs, I finally succeeded. The euphoria I felt made me understand why difficult maps are so popular on NUMA.
and then delete this comment so nobody catches on

merry christmas
I wrote "It's name is"... This should be "Its name is". Apologies.

Lot of reviews.
Like many of the other challenges and tournaments, Mapdraft produced a lot of good maps. It also produced a lot of not-so-good maps, including a couple by my own hand.

But what I feel is best about Mapdraft and its sibling competitions, what justifies their often erratic schedule and short lives, is the few maps that are extraordinary.

Such as "Speak with Perpetual Emphasis", by Mae. It is as if Mae has taken the restrictions of the contests and turned them to something creative, and done so sublimely.

"Speak with Perpetual Emphasis" is a pearl: Judging from its breathtaking beauty, you would never guess that it started out simply as PALEMOON upsetting Mae's applecart. Enjoy!
"Defekt" is one of those maps that doesn't have a fancy, semi-philosophical name, nor is named after someone's favourite band or that song they just can't stop listening to: It's name is a short yet accurate description of the feel of the map; The tiles seem almost sundered, there is nowhere on the coarse surface to rest or hide, and yet, from the troubles of fighting through the hostile territory, a sense of catharsis befalls you; Is this hectic and merciless challenge not part of every N-player's motivation to return to the game time after time?

question

what if someone sends a review of one of our maps -- are we allowed to post it, since it was their idea?

hypothetically.

.
(Because my English is not that good, I'm sorry.) (And yeah, bad enough so that I can't find my mistakes with the revew.)
Did you ever encountered a map yet so complex and simple?

Acolyte, even if it's a retile, is doing great on it's mission to being great, simple, fun and yet being so complex about it. The map itself is so harmonic with it's beatiful tiles and simple-yet-so-fun gameplay, relaxing as you're lying on the clouds while watching a sunset, dangerous as you're walking on a rope with water full of piranhas under it. It's an adventure you don't know where it starts or finishes. An adventure never seems to end.

Acolyte, where the evil meets the good.
language-errors in it. If so, apologies.
With ‘For This I Bless You’, RX_Queen has managed to combine some of the most extraordinary gameplay with probably the most stylish tileset I’ve ever seen around here. He sais that he's a design student. Well, it shows.
Crawling through tunnels to reach a sky with diamonds (or gold, as you wish), whilst dodging some gausses or a single rocket has never felt more comfortable.

And for this, I bless him.
Its wet, dark and cold outside on a lonely autumns day, but a noise in the next room leads you astray...

"It's Raining", by revered author SkyRay [nmaps.net] is not at all your average map. It's the kind of map that makes you think of sitting inside your room, looking out the window at the falling rain... Yes thats right - atmosphere. This map for me has accomplished this so far and beyond any other maps in the category, and is definitely worth recognizing.

"A small map, with a lot of space" could not be more spot on.

Stumbling through the deserted streets, you hurdle one of many lasers as it attempts to slice your fragile body in half. Another red line crosses your path only slightly lighter in colour, you hesitate and then dive through. Sprinting past a side route, you glimpse for a moment A PILE OF GOLD!? You turn back, dashing in and out of the side street like black lightning. A beam cuts across your leg: blood sprays everywhere. You stumble and fall, glimpsing a view of THE EYE just before a drone blocks your view.
-LordOfPeanuts- fails to disappoint
