This had been done heaps of times before. Here, [nmaps.net] and here./ [nmaps.net] This one just felt too cramped, and that black covering just added to that feeling. You could have at least made the sight radius larger, so we could see for incoming drones, and then avoid them, instead of dying. :/

On a side note, ZTHING, you're horribly wrong. Those aren't greedy drones at all. Back then we used foreground and background images.

yeah,

i've seen ernie's cavern before, but i just got the idea of using a drone to do that. i hadn't seen it done before.

anyway, in this particular map, the darkness doesn't add to the gameplay at all. the map is more fun in regular light, and even then it's not much fun. 2/5.

It's been done a few times before. I can't find the 2 examples I was looking for, but this one [nmaps.net] is as close as I can get. Basically, the torches are modded greedy drones that light the map.
