Nice.

Interesting and fun mechanics and a decent atmosphere gives this an edge over other entries.

Things I didn't like.

The map itself:
- the tiles made for some rather awkward play in places, I think you could have smoothed out the gaps to give lend a more satisfying feel without sacrificing the aesthetic.
- the difficulty curve was off a little, that second chain gun encounter felt like a spike rather than a progression.

In the context of the review:
- the enemies didn't feel very trap like.
- the only aspect that wasn't satisfied for me was "you realize that this journey is far from over. The story is only beginning".

I reckon you're onto something, just needs a some refinement.
