This is a really awesome tileset.

It's a shame it isn't used... I gave it a go, but I kind of suck at mapping:

Note: The gauss, the drones and the lightning bolt were all afterthoughts. The gameplay is more peaceful without the gauss and the lightning bolt may look out of place.
