Great map.

It's really interesting how lasers "close on the ninja" like scissors as one moves upwards. It's also interesting how it's not always easy to move downwards without jumping, since mines often block the way to slide away from one-ways. That combined with the scissoring effect of the lasers has prevented me from moving downwards altogether at least a couple of times.

There is always a sense of pressure, even if there's usually more than enough time to escape lasers once they're indicated.

Anyway, that's all to say that's a very thought out map. Loved it.

You should develop this concept more. I really like the ambiguity of this map. In fact all of your tileless maps have been really interesting due to their fluid structure which really forces the player to think when they're playing. You should continue making more maps like this, they are the most interesting maps I've seen from you, or in fact for a rather long time here on nmaps.

And I agree with basically everything that Dagga and PALEMOON said - which is why you are one of the mappers whose maps I look forward to most.

Have a fast-ish speedrun.

This would be really cool with tiles.

i know the feeling palemoon is talking about, his own maps as well as 179's have a similar feeling. especially seen in sunset's map there is a slight ambiguity as to what you're supposed to do, as well as a confusion of sorts. why did sunset put this here? why did sunset think this was a good idea? if someone who makes very classic action maps, like yahoozy or fingersonthefrets has a coherence to the way they create, the decisions they make, then sunset's maps have a slight lack of that. it's always something that i've loved in his maps, you can't quite understand everything that's going on. chaotic creator, sunset.

interesting

i liked that trip up to the exit switch. your maps always have this sort of weird feeling i cant really describe but its cool to run around in them
