Map Data

Description Not sure if this has been demonstrated before, but here is an interesting thing that requires no messing with the level data. Just place a S locked door on one square and then put a W trap door on the square below that. Place both switched on the same spot. You've not just created a fake floor. Trigger the switches and N will fall right through. Check this map out for a "how-to" guide.

cool

thanks for the tip.

Not really

they will look different, because trap and lock door switches look different.

I much prefer 'fake doors': doors with two unlockers which appear to unlock, but are actually resealing themselves.

The trick

Is to place the locked door first and then the trap door. If you place them in the other order it acts as a normal floor when triggered. You use both methods together to create some interesting flooring. :D
