Description EDIT: WHAT!?! 8 5/5's in a row!! *head explodes from amazement*

This shows the 4 things you can do to springs by making the 2 numbers that affect the power of the spring either 0 or undefined (NaN)

Slowmotion (0,0)- N has no walking animation, cannot jump, and moves slower (both horizontally and vertically)

Time Freeze (NaN,NaN)- N is frozen and canot move. If you look at the rocket going razy, you can see rockets blinking. If you go full-screen, you can see the rocket exploding in the top-left corner.

Flying Ghost N (NaN,0)- N cannot jump or fall, but has fly left or right and can go through walls, even the other level barrier. If you press the jump key while N is inside the level, he will be launched left. By pressing jump there is no limiting kinetic friction (no limiting top speed, so his terminal velocity is infinite) This also makes the rocket go crazy

KO (0,NaN)- Fairly stright forward. It kills N. If you have fullscreen, you can sometimes see his body stuck in the left wall. This also makes the rocket go crazy, plus the rocket appears over the top of the screen too.

If you respawn N over any of the springs (except slow-mo), N's position will not be updated, but the springs will have the same effect.

By the way, modified springs appear as triangles in the thumbnail for some reason. They are springs in the editor.
Oh yeah, please do this in the editor, otherwise you can only see the effect of the first 2 springs.

That happens all the time in the thumbnails. It's normal on NUMA.
Go into the editor, make a single diangonal spring. GO into the level code and change the last 2 numbers (2 long decimals) to 0,2. Now you have a vertical spring that's twice as powerfull as it normally is. Change it to 0,10, and you'll go flying off the screen when you hit it.

wtf?

i didnt understand 1 word o that explanation :S
modify the last 2 numbers. If it's a diagonal, make them both really big, if it's not diagonal, make the one that's no 0 really big. By big, I mean a large magnitude/absolute value.
HOW ON EARTH DID THIS TEST LEVEL JUST GET RATED 5/5 BY 5 PEOPLE????????????????????????????

*randomly explodes*

4 5/5'S?!?

*collapses from sheer amazement*
(translation: thanks for the great ratings)

how

do u get a launchpad to shoot u really far?
amazing 5/5aved

oh yeah

I'll add the KO spring thing to the description...

The only reason i didn't use teleporter/thundercloud springs is because they are just super-high-powered springs that shoot you so fast that you seem to (actually you DO) teleport, but they do not involve NaN's or 0's.

I also made an invisibility spring before, where you're sprite/graphic/thing are frozen in time, but you can still move around and interact with stuff. But I never figured it out again.

You're welcome

and Thank you for the 5/5... must... resist... jumping... for joy... *jumps for joy* *falls on head* *dies*

...I'm OK!!! (physically lol, the mental report hasn't come back yet :p)

Good Job !

It's always good to know about such things, it's often really fun to play around with them, but : No teleporter springs ? Okay, I know it's a very popular...uhm...glitch in some way, but yeah... could you please say how you make the KO-Springs because it looks like they are fun like hell ! =]

Cool

Now i know bout all the glitches.
