Not bad for a first, actually.

the laser was somewhat overkill though, and there was no real application for those bounceblocks.

Use less mines to accoplish the same effect. I'll post a SS of the way I'd edit your map, since you're new :)

In short, less is more in many cases. I actually had fun playing this. Keep it up.
