i love your maps

they rock

thanks

I,m still not too good with the trap doors and other propulsions thats y the left hand corner wasnt used and the one gold delay i tryed to make as short as possible(otherwise it shoots u right into a lazer)and i no one of the times i blocked a rocket was because their was no way around it.

same as psychosnail

great level. (my first level/dda:

I really liked it.

Very nice for a first (second) DDA, better than my own first DDA in my opinion. Although you did use launchpads and some gold delay, you didn't spam them like I see in many other DDAs. The close calls you have in this show that you really have a sense of how to make DDAs.

There were a few problems with this DDA besides the launchpads and gold delay, though. First of all, the gausses really didn't do much. You should always have each enemy in a DDA be effective and add a lot to the DDA. Second of all, you have quite a lot of empty space in the DDA that you could use to lengthen it (of course, if there's so much stuff that it gets laggy or boring, you should stop the DDA). Third of all, the pacing was a bit too fast for the rockets to catch up to you. Most of the time, the rockets were just trailing far behind and were just blocked by the trapdoors. You should try to dodge the rockets, rather than block them, but also destroy the rockets occasionally so that they don't bunch up.
Overall, it was very nice for a first/second. I look forward to seeing more DDAs from you. Next time, you should spread more enemies throughout the map, and also experiment with more propulsion methods, such as bounceblock propulsion, normal door propulsion, and thwump propulsion.
Here's [metanet.2.forumer.com] a very useful guide about making DDAs, which includes tips on how to get each of the propulsion methods to work.
