Map Data

Description ***VERY IMPORTANT***
YOU MUST PRESS 'J' IN THE DEBUG MENU BEFORE LOADING THE LEVEL, IF YOU DON'T IT WILL NOT WORK
The original "Glitchtastic" did so so well, and I decided to create a sequel. I absolutely love it. It's longer, and has many close calls (at least for it's type).
It has somewhat bad load time, with 4.5 lines of object data, NONE of it used for propulsion!

ITS NOT WORKING FOR ME, WHEN I PRESS J IT CLEARS THE MAP

nEAT

How d you do that... still nice tile glitches. 5/5

i beg to differ

i didnt press j and it worked all the same

O_O

That was awesome. I find it amazing that the ninja gets every piece of gold without hitting a mine, just using glitched up tiles.

4.5/5

difference

the code and the picture are not the same for me. am i doing something wrong, or did you...? anyway: i liked it. 4.5

Old Technique...

But It Never Gets Boring. 4.5/5

UNREAL

Hey!

This is a sweet DDA, but i wish people would tell me how to write code for these awesome glitches. could ya help guys?

Cool DDA, but a bit short, I think.

(P.S.: I liked the mines.)

It's not that hard killer. You can use an E tile as a placeholder for the false tile, open up the tile data in your text editor of choice, and find all 1s and replace them with any of the false tile characters.

...

It was actually quite good...i dont know if i should rate it or not. I mean, if everyone knew how to make n propel from those tiles, then this would only be an ordinary DDA... you know what i mean?

Very true astro

I probably should've put you in the description for Glitchtastic

...

sweet deal 5/5

Well, not intended to be a shameless plug, but he *did* get the idea from me :P
I have the 20th, 21st, and 22nd top rated DDAs LOL that's freaking hilarious!
That means a lot to me, really

ah

keep i disagree pitch. the mines are a beautifull touch. i love this map. your the glitch master. no doubt in my mind. keep it up jigger.

im confused

someone help me. (sucks thumb hides in corner) mama. mama!

WOW

that was amazing, BREJUS, way to go. 5/5, much better than the first glitchtastic. by the way, i submitted a demo to my map if you haven't seen it already.

I kinda agree with Pitch. Nonetheless a great use of false-tile propulsion.

4 hours on a dda isn't very much, to be honest. I spend around twenty on most of mine.

This was pretty good, though. I'll give you a four.
but ok, I guess you didn't like it

4/5

The only gripe I have, is that the mines seem somewhat unneccesary. They don't really add much

Whoops

Yeah, I forgot I asked the question in the first one. Thanks though !

Without J it works until it hits a tile that was previously filled on the last map you played, just to clear it up.

And doing it is very simple. Replace the tile you want with lots of characters like ~, Z, {, }, and a lot more I can't remember.
About how to make it work:
where you want a glitch tile, you just place a 'E' tile. Then look in the level data for the '1'. Replace the '1' with a
~, Z, #, ^, &, , {, or } (and there's more, but they all produce the same result)
That's how to make them, but you can't control them, that's where the difficulty lies. If you want to make one of these suckers, there will be a LOT of testing, trust me, it takes a while. This short little ditty itself took me 4 hours!

OMG !!!

I have to know how those tiles work and how to make them ! Please tell me !!

nice

although i still dont see how the modded terrain propels you. Without J it starts to work, but messes up after a bit, wish you could have fixed that, but thanks for the heads up.
