Gap?

I wasn't referring to the pinball area, I was referring to the tube. N is launched up the tube by launchpads, and when he comes back down the right side, he dies.

do you see people playing real pinball with no gap?
I dont think so!
that is to make it more realistic.
and the dda isnt that great, but it is a recreation
the original was amazing, but the data was lost :(

Not Worth It

The idea of a pinball arena is intriguing, but it shouldn't take 30 seconds to get to it. This problem is compounded by the fact that if you don't pay attention, you'll be killed by the big fall in the middle and have to restart the level. This is also a problem since the copious objects make the level take forever to load.

The DDA portion itself is also tedious. Far too much of it is spent waiting rather than watching, thanks to the massive gold delay and the launchpad loop. Good DDAs use very few (if any) launchpads, and certainly not long chains of them. Although there were lots of thwumps, there really wasn't any threat, which made the DDA section boring.
