Description Probably my favorite map in the series and possibly my favorite map Ive ever made, imo. RCE, feedback is cruical for the next step. And dont be afraid to be original; theres enough alternate paths to keep you playing for decades.

Its seriously not as easy as it looks to make something like this that works.

well, just wondering, how much time did you spend on this?
I do kinda agree with one seven nine about the placement, but I loved the laser personally. Also, the normal door is there so the laser doesnt peep through and ruin the agd path. A mine would completely ruin the agd path :)

Well...

The chaingun and the laser have perfect placement, and all the sections are pretty fun, but somehow the gameplay feels a bit choppy, mostly in fault of the tileset, or more specifically, the way you mixed the objects with the tileset. Other than the enemies, which look perfect to me, the placement seems artificial, as if you created the objects and the tileset as two different things and stuck them together. The mines, while only somewhat necessary, serve little purpose and look a bit sloppy in placement.

A low 4, I guess; it still does have fun in it, but it just feels awkward in places.

has that old chaingun dodger feel to it, but with enticing gold and lots of close calls

i can't find much fault in it except for the normal door

i say get rid of it and replace it with a mine on the bottom

It's pretty good.

I think it looks nice. Maybe for some more series names you could have:

Outpost Delta (as crescor said)
Outpost Sabre
Outpost Blade

Hmmm

I think I may have focused on one type of freddom more than others. This map offers more freedom in gold paths, but ultimately leads to more linear paths when actually getting the switches and exiting. Whereas Outpost Alpha offered a lot of freedom over both, if slightly less flow. Or at least I think?

Huh? I liked how this player and how it looked, but judging from your style I can see why you wouldnt like the aesthetics. And I didnt find much that was restricting either... oh wait, you mean the switch locations right? Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for pointing that out, Ill work on it in the next installment.

I found tons more applicable paths in this one; almost every block of gold can be easily collected from the start at the end of a different path. Or are you refering to the closed off bottom section? I personally found this one seemed to work a bit better than the first, but thats just imo.
