for a first, i would pretty much say everything what DDRave said. chek out my latest map please, it needs on more rate. 4/5 for your map since its a first

not bad for a first. I'd give this a 2.7 upwards (3)
tips:
1) the gold. It should look neat, and organized, not all over the place. very rarely should you have gold pieces by themselves.
2) the tileset. It should make the map look pleasing to the eye, and not all over the place. If you take a look at the featured maps, the tilesets look cool. Don't they?
3) the doors. They look kinda ugly on the map. The one ways are bleh. the normal doors are also bleh. Try to make it (again) look good.
