| Description | Once again i've listned to what you guys said about my race-maps so now i've made a race with a little more tiles. It dosn't have the best flow but try it out anyway and comment. |

1. copy the 'map data' from the box.
2. when you load n game, on the main menu hit the tilda key (~) and an editor will pop up.
3. paste this data into the 'map data' section of this editor then press the 'L' key. should load the map.
4. then turn on caps lock, it has to be on to play the map. and then hit 'P'.
5. if you die, just hit the tilda key (~) then press 'R' and repeat step 4.
easy right? it will take some getting used to. ^^ have fun!

agree with chironex
with the mines, try and place a couple only in places where the ninja will be killed if they mis-time a jump or such. look at other race maps for an example.
and as for the flow - concentrate on the flow first - as that is the priorety in races. then once you have established a firm style you can start messing around.

The longest/fastest/hardest possible jump or set of jumps in a race level should land you safely. An exception may be when the jump is one in which you only press and release the jump key instantly, although this is a little less flowy.
This all seems a little restrictive, I know, and it is. You need to learn to make clean race maps with good flow before screwing around and getting creative. It's like music.

it's ok.
try to use less mines and more varying tiles. and, don't stop to playtest it, again and again.
