I, for example, rarely have time (due to college) to play a lot of maps. Because of this, I never advertise my maps or complain if they receive little or no attention. If someone plays my maps, then I'm very appreciative, but I don't ask them to.

I believe that people should take the time to look at other people's maps. They have the gull to complain about their maps being ignored yet they won't take the time to RCE others maps.
Also Sunset, dude, really? Tbh, why should anyone who knows nothing about you, care about your problems in the real world. This is a game site, not a place for you to harbor all you real life issues.

If you're seeking anything different on any internet community, you're going to be horribly disappointed. This community is made up of a bunch of pretty cool people. While I'm not denying any of your points, (except maybe #3, WTF is that all about) but any internet community is going to be just as bad, if not worse.
