Description I haven't played in a while, let alone made a map, and this idea came out of the blue. So that's my shpiel.


Another multi-path simple challenge thing. Two main paths. Each has alternative paths. Total paths 6 (I think).

RCE or whatever you do here.

EDIT: I decided to be nicer with one of the paths. The others shouldn't suffer much

You're actually not supposed to.

Originally, I made this with just the two trap doors, and a door at the bottom right corner. By playtesting (fbf included) it was obvious that it was impossible to jump off the far wall to save yourself (you would be too far to jump and the next frame you were dead).

So I put that thwump in there not for another jump (which you can't do anyway) but to push you ever so slightly so that you could jump off the far wall, saving yourself so you can just fall through the door. But i figured that after doing that awkward timing with the trapdoor, it would be nicer to just have you launch into the door and not have to do another timing thing (considering that that would make it four timing things in a row; the odds would be very slim just to pull it off). And as a bonus it made the other, simpler paths a tiny bit more difficult (like, a-rocket-chasing-you-from-a-reasonable-distance-while-you-walljump-twice more difficult).

But with the playtesting, I saw that there could be several paths to completion involving the thwump (ok, maybe not several, maybe two). So I just left it in.

Hope that cleared things up. And sorry if I came off as a douche by explaining it maybe more than I should have if your comment wasn't one you expected an answer to...
