Description First of all, this is my first DDA and I think it's pretty cool. Second, I already know that I need to add more action, and I'll be working on that the next few weeks. Third, I would really appreciate critique and votes. This is called ValentinesDDA because I made the whole thing on Valentines day. N-Joy.

sorry

sorry its ninjaman99 (no offense im horrible with names) oh and no offense to the other people that rated i just meant that everybodys comments were short and not that helpful. I know what its like being new and trying to create good levels.

alright

jeez you guys are harsh.First of all ( eveen though I am fairly new) I would like to welcome you to NUMA. for a first DDA this is good. ill make a few suggestions since it looks like noone else is intent on helping the newcomers. First of all i really liked you're first part; mine totally sucked.(see: "my first DDA") ok there wasn't many close calls because 1. you started off with 1 enemy and 2. you killed it before it got close. When I first started making levels it was hard to get the timing right but with practice comes understanding. im impressed that you didn't use launchpads as your main means of tranportation; most newcomers do. I would play around with N's landing, triggering the thwump, and placing it so you wait for the least amount of time possible which equals close calls. adding all of your enemies at the beginning makes the level a lot easier to make. Craft your level around your enemies. rockets are especially good because they are easy to dodge but fun to watch. Laser drones take some practice and careful timing. The other means of getting around are the trapdoors (you may have utilized them in the level; sorry i cannot remember) but they can provide a breath of fresh air to a stale level. I've blathered on enough; there is plenty more to learnbut i just don't have the time to explain it now(if you want some serious help, i would talk to veterans like churchfire, spilledtea and ninja99(i think i spelled his name right. if not check around) hopefully this has been helpful. If you want to be a pro, check out my levels and just do the opposite. ( but please rate and comment) later
