And I made a mistake, the rocket always goes off but it crashes right away, so it does nothing if you're going fast.

Wow

Thanks so much for all that Barabajagal!
I will certainly take all the advice you have given me into consideration when making future maps.
As for this one, I am unable to identify the top right rocket you refer to, but other than that I can appreciate your criticism and accept it fully.
I wish they were all like that.
The gold clump in the beginning really turns me off, really. I can understand the reasoning given the sparseness of the rest of the map, it could even make for some interesting contrast, but as it is it looks unappealling. Also it's easy to get to; gold, IMHO, should be out of the way a little bit, most of the time. Not all the time. The rocket in the top right is a little too removed to be of any effect. I can pass by there, consistently, without it firing. I do, however, like the pseudo-linearity of the next section. Although I think it would benefit if some gold were by the gauss, to give some extra motivation to go that way instead of passing through the mines. The left gold is a real challenge, too hard for me, but I can respect the KRA apsect of the map. It adds variety even if I myself am not a fan of that technique. Btw, regarding the tileset I like when curved tiles and angled tiles are mixed but only when they're not clearly divided, which looks amateurish. The tiles are interesting enough, without being outstanding, like I said if the curved and angular tiles were mixed it would be a lot better. The switch, again, is a KRA thing, so I won't review that. Okay, now we've got something. This last leg of the map (after the switch) is just awesome. It's difficult and fun. The 6 tiles and the gauss is hell but so rewarding when you finally get the top and drop down to the exit, dodging mines and shots.
Overall, this map shows promise.
Above average: 3.5 ninjas.
