Well, I'm glad you informed me.
I had a talk with Radium on IRC, and I explained that if anyone doesn't like something I did, I invite a dialogue with them. I feel that nothing I do here would be bad enough that I can't patch it up with words.
By the way, I would've better indicated I was kidding, but it wouldn't've jived with the joke. I could only change those key words, y'know?

it was a poor use of a 'joke' to coax the truth of what I actually think of you that I wouldn't put forthright in almost any given situation. I think you are the one to blame for this blasphemy. I feel that many people dislike me on NUMA, and I was suprised and disappointed by your 'joking'. Seriously, it's just not right.
Notice the " ' ". Just keep your mouth closed unless you are going to make it clear that your were screwing around.

it was easier for me to recognize the sarcasm in nan's message than in yours. keep in mind its not like you can read sarcasm online. you generally have to hear it. a ";)" or something might've helped, but i guess thats not your style so much.
you might want to consider slightly revising your method of applying sarcasm if you dont want people to question it in the future, because i had a very difficult time understanding your comment as sarcasm
with inside jokes like that, you should probably use a little caution and think about how others might take it. nan, clearly, wasnt in on it either and both of us, clearly, were offended by your seemingly assholish comment.

I'm a pretentious bastard but I'm also a pretty fun guy. If I leave a weird comment anywhere that seems hurtful, take it as joke or satire or somesuch.

I was kidding too. lord_day paraphrased you and Radium on IRC and I took his words and replaced key terms, such as "mod" and "map." So, while you weren't in on it, there is really no founding for this presumably serious attack.
Now, regarding your uncalled-for slight, you have every right to not like my maps. However, I do put a lot of work into these maps, all of them. This one, for example, I playtested heavily and tweaked to make everything flow smoothly. Slamble Sloperstar I worked on for two days, spent a good hour playing, and also got Skyline's advice. I don't really see why you think I'd use NUMA to share my inside jokes. That's reserved for insertion into forum posts and the Repository. If you see an IRC quote here, it's because I'm looking for something to stick in, or directly relates to the map. Finally, I don't see how they're egotistical. Could you please elaborate on this?

i kinda have to agree with nan somewhat
pardon me for intruding on your whatever, but i read what you posted on nan's map and i felt it was completely uncalled for and rude.
and map quality is no excuse for rudeness. i dont hold either of you in very high regard as far as map quality goes, but gloomp, putting down nan_d__chaser's mapping quality because of something he might've said that was unrelated to mapping is a cheap shot and a very juvenile way of sorting out a disagreement.
show a little decency to those who haven't been around as long as you. newer mappers sometimes look up to older mappers and comment's like that just show them how immature you are.

Firstly, it was (while possibly not put forth very well) a joke. I posted a comment on the subject map comparing the situation to The Reformation. I just wanted to see people's reaction.
Also, I don't think your maps are good either. They seem to be not well thought out, and just lame spam. I think posting maps here is just a medium to share your idiotic (and often egotistic) IRC conversations.
