There are probably a thousand maps on NUMA claiming to be imbued with the feeling of flight, but who cares? Screw flight. N isn't supposed to be a flight simulator. Ninjas can't fly unless you use some clunky Nreality mod.

The more discerning ninja will notice that the excitement in the map stems from numerous missiles and other assorted hazards whose grasp you constantly and gracefully elude. This map succeeds not because it captures the feeling of flight, but because it (quite satisfactorily) captures the feeling of NINJA. And that's what N was made for, thankyouverymuch.

the map is pretty fun. I agree with Life, the turrets had too much range but i like the thwumps and the overall setup. good map

that's an appropriate metaphor

and by featuring this map I'm trying to take on the role of some food network road show host who goes into tiny towns and finds amazing barbecue--maybe i'm taking this metaphor a little too far. I don't look anything like alton brown

The triple gauss were a bit much.

Maybe if the middle gauss was the only rocket I would've liked it more.

A good Yahoozy map or a good atob map is like eating at a five star restaurant. You have expectations that it will be good. A good map from an unknown author is like going to "Billy's BBQ Bonanza" for the first time. You never would have heard about it if your friend hadn't told recommended it to you. But when you get there, the food is as good (or better) than what you could get at the five star restaurant.

I hope that clears up the confusion. (/rant)

i feel like i've given more mappers their first feature than most reviewers have

but honestly the most interesting stuff I find comes from people who don't have ten reviews

maps from unknown authors don't deserve to be featured just because they're from unknown authors, but everybody's played an atob map and everybody's played a yahoozy map, etc

i like maps that you can't fit into a stylistic category like that

apart from that, this is really innovative and fun. anyways, you should probably delete that rocket and add some bounceblocks at the top. do that, and I'll reward you a 4.
