I'll play this tomorrow man,
And I'll give a try to Brogue also.. I'm actually a fan and a freak on Freeware, Flash Games, iOS Games and such.. I can suggest to you as a apetizier two awesome free games. Firstly, Terry Cavanagh's Hexagon, a stunning fast paced loop arcade game, endless gameplay in which you must continually escape to hexagons and geometric figures that come upon you, really, really hard, with a chiptune-ish music really awesome, Hexagon it was the first original version, but now the really impressive is the second version, Super Hexagon much harder, more stages and better made, only for iOS so far, i don't know if you have any iOS device, if you have, check this out! Secondly, one recently discovered, Zineth, an awesome arcade highly fast paced futuristic stakeboarder, it's free and it is really well made, also its aesthetics and atmosphere are awesome, seriously, check it out. The link: http://arcanekids.com/
And, if you want more stuff, i can tell you over IRC someday.. ;)
As a mapping suggest, tries to make smaller maps, I do not say necessarily on lenght, if not, you try to do something other than a full screen map.. I want see what you're capable.. ;)
