Map Data

Description "...upon reaching the swamp near Lake Lerna, where the Hydra dwelt, Heracles covered his mouth and nose with a cloth to protect himself from the poisonous fumes and fired flaming arrows into its lair, the spring of Amymone, to draw it out.He then confronted it, wielding a harvesting sickle. The chthonic creature's reaction was botanical: upon cutting off each of its heads he found that two grew back, an expression of the hopelessness of such a struggle for any but the hero, Heracles. The weakness of the Hydra was that only one of its heads were immortal.Realising that he could not defeat the Hydra in this way, Heracles called on his nephew Iolaus for help. His nephew then came upon the idea (possibly inspired by Athena) of using a burning firebrand to scorch the neck stumps after each decapitation, and handed him the blazing brand. Heracles cut off each head and Iolaus burned the open stump leaving the Hydra dead. Its one immortal head Heracles placed under a great rock..."

I really like this.

I wish the heads could be better. Here is an idea of what I would like the pattern to be on the bottom (reverse colour scheme) and what a head could be. It's not great but I think it would look better:

Also

you should release the other two tilesets you made for the collab on NUMA as tilesets - you'll almost certainly get some ratings, I can't see how people would ignore them.
Another important consideration - should we release the collab on your account or mine? I don't mind either way.

Does this

work now, in terms of horizon?

Sorry

about not rating, done it now.

well...

as I'm neither a very talented storyteller and nor native english-speaker I just copied and modified it a bit...
btw you told you rated but you actually didn't...

It looks beautiful

I particularly like the outside, it really captures the feel of a Greek myth.
However, the gameplay is just horrible. Please don't put floorguards inside tiles, it really spoils it.
For this reason, I can only give it a 3.5 (rounded up)
Did you make up the description, or is it from somewhere else?
