Puzzles are a highly underrated portion of this community. The allure of puzzles resides in their thought provoking concepts and alternative styles of action. Few people explore this genre to its fullest. Here is one person that has. Randomdigits, an obscure mapper who barely gets the attention he deserves, has produced one of the most mystifying maps of the decade. Not only does it have cute, alternative tiles, but it has hard jumps.
Some may find this type of map not to their liking. To those people, I have one thing to say. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Hmmmm, I mean I'm one of those players who have not completed N. Moreover, as you say, I have not even completed a single column. And what is more, I've only played up to episode 8 of the first column without complete, and I have not played any other map in any other column, not even start. This is my progress on N. I will not talk about NReality then anyone can imagine.. :P
But what I really mean is that this does not conclude anything, your statements do not indicate that someone with no complete N is bad player. In fact I do not consider myself bad player. Or no good player. I will say more, I even consider myself a better player than you, and a decent player if possible. I am making these statements, based on scores of NUMA, conversations with you, and things which to me are not all that complicated and you should. You can check my skill as a player and I did not complete a single column of N even.

Randomdigits maps
are very raw, provide a challenge and expose lots of neat mechanics. Some are better than others, but I just admire the fact that he puts so many of them out there. Alot more than most, including myself.
It's always fun to scroll through his works and see what he's come up with, and this is a great example of what I mean. They might not be as outright as this one was, but they're there for sure.

This is challenging. Good use of small spaces, I am not too good with those. The tunnel with the Gauss Gun is especially hard. It is a good feature regardless.

The fact that I played it. If something's too irritating to be fun, and thus causes me to quit playing, that's a negative trait. A map can be balls-hard and still be fun, and this isn't.
