| Description | Greetings everyone. For those of you who don't know me, my name is The_Mingler, also known as Ogotu or Ogt2 throughout various parts of the internet.
I used to make maps back in 2010, and some people liked them. Though back in (late?) 2010, I decided to take a break from mapping and playing games in general, not only because it was something that no longer interested me very much but also because I decided to take some other aspects in life more seriously (I was having a few issues with my family and friends at that time, and to me solving those problems and having a more serious view on my career and my work seemed more important to me than just playing games). After two years of various experiences - working, getting closer to my family and getting some money - I feel like I really matured; and one day, just like that, I decided playing N again. It's a great game I always came back to at recurring occasions and, well, I really felt like playing something fun again (I actually, for the first time in history, fully completed the game!). So before I get started with mapping again, I wanted to warm up by making a little series of tilesets (which you fellow mappers out there are free to use for your own devious experiments, I dare you). After this little process I'll get on with making full maps again, all while attempting to analyze what didn't feel right in my older maps and trying to optimize them and taking key elements that I'll implant in the new ones. Let us scrap the failures! I'm on a quest to create the perfect map now, what. We'll see about that. If people even enjoy my next maps, who knows? I might turn it into a full time job! (Wait, that can't work, I won't get any money out of that... hmm..) So stick around and see what comes out in the next couple of weeks! You might find a map or two to your liking! In the meantime, part of my tileset series; I present to you, King James VII! A fictional king, yes, but a pretty good one. You can't deny that. I'm not really sure if this is more of an N-Art piece or just simply a tileset. Nonetheless you're free to use it for your own maps. Hope to see y'all around some time soon! :D |

I didn't actually left NUMA, I've just quit mapping for a bit. mostly because the lack of inspiration, but also some personal stuff... and that's it. :P
